Bomberman Trainer

It’s been over a year since my last contribution. I’d like to give Starwaffle a big hand for perhaps one of the greatest Olimar hacks of all time, Bomberman. I’ve done some work porting it over to Pokemon Trainer, since he needs some love (seriously, he has the least amount of hacks in the Vault, not counting superfluous transformation characters like Gigabowser and WarioMan).

Two versions are included: One where the pokeball has been replaced with a bomb, and one where it’s just the default pokeball. For those that don’t dabble in Pokemon Trainer costumes much, it’s all one-slot happiness.

A minor plea.

While we work to rebuild the Vault and Forums, there’s a small personal matter I need some help with. It’s a little vain of me, but my wife (just married, woo!) and I would appreciate some help:

I got laid off last night.

As of now, I have no source of income. For the newly married man, and an apartment that doesn’t pay itself, that’s scary. Scarier? Moving into the in-laws basement.

I’m not asking for money, cause I believe in work; I know most of you are on facebook, and if you would be so kind as to ‘like’ and ‘share’ my entrepreneur business, it would really help get it off the ground. I have the money to pay for two more months of rent before I move into the in-laws basement, so any liking is helpful, even if you don’t live in the area of the business.

Been treated really well here the last few years. I have total trust in the community to help me back onto my financial feet, even if it’s just through social networking.

KCMM HD | High Definition Replay Compiler

In a recent interview, regional president Reggie Fils-Aime of Nintendo of America announced the WiiU wouldn’t play Wii games in their native HD quality. To heck with that! We’re going to get your replays in the resolution the wii games were originally developed; High Definition.

What is KCMM HD you ask?

KCMM HD is the ability for users to aquire High Definition videos of Replays. The illustration below shows a quick example of how to utilize KCMM HD:

 


Downloading ‘Savegame Manager’ from the homebrew channel only has to be done once. Here’s a download link for uTorrent 3.0, as well as the forum link mentioned in Step 4.

Note: For obvious reasons, if your creation is a menu, or something of a ‘non-replay’ nature, please mention that in your forum submission request. Please acknoledge that you will be lower on the tier list of priority, since it will require much more human interaction.

Well, you may not have seen the PayPal image while it was fresh, but it’s now in a “complete” stage. You can thank your KC-MM community for the new brawlvault.net domain, specifically arcray20, who single-handedly donated $20 on his own, essentially sealing the deal for the .net domain.

Keep your eyes peeled on that donations image, since the next improvement to the site just might make you famous if you can help out first! Shoot a thankyou to arcray20 when you get the chance.

Edit: janfeae just one-upped arcray with a whopping $50 dollar donation, setting anew the record for donations given by any single person! The donations button will continue to function throughout the end of the year, however, donating is completely optional. Any donations given will be held in reserve for the next goal that we undertake as a website whole.

KC:MM Komix | Season 1: Episode 2

Writing Tablet + KC:MM = Steady Komix Releases. I realize it’s been nearly a year since the first Komix release. Personal personal personal, blah blah blah, I start college again in January, which means I can finally make a come-back to the Brawl scene.

I do agree. It’s been far too long. My skits I had ready to be designed have since gone missing, so storyline ideas are welcome in the comments. Illustrating them will be easier now that I have grasped 30% of the learning curve for this crazy thing. heh
