Veigar, the tiny master of evil from League of Legends, comes to Brawl!
I got a lot of free time lately and I got a lot better at 3D, and with model hacking becoming so easy in Brawl, I got back into Brawl hacking!
I extracted the model and texture directly from LoL’s game files, then edited and positioned the model. I had to mirror the model because Lucas holds his stick with his right hand. I also had to make his hands smaller amongst other things in order to rig it properly.
Also, I’m working on another LoL import. Something over Wario.

I’ve been wondering when a LoL model would make it’s way into Brawl. I tried to do it myself (Morgana over Zelda) but it ended up being over my head. It looks you did a really nice job with the rig so I guess it wasn’t over your head
. You say the textures used are unmodified ones you took directly from LoL? They seem to fit so well in Brawl.
Welcome back Segab! Awesome to see you back into Brawl modding again. The model looks great and the textures fit really well into Brawl despite being from a different game. My only suggestion is that the rod should only appear when Lucas’ stick would appear i.e. during the F Smash. It looks rather odd with him holding it constantly.
@toddtj: yeah, those are the original textures, I only edited a small thing on the legs. The textures are pretty Brawl-like, yes!
@SDoom: Thanks! About the wand, it was originally an accident, but seeing how Veigar can’t cast any spell without it, I thought it’d fit better if he always held it. If I ever figure out how to make it disappear I’ll upload a version without the wand.
Can you try to import skins from the character? I’m just wondering

@DarkSolXZ: skins usually have completely different models, which means I’d have to re-rig it entirely. I’m not sure about his “White Mage Veigar” skin, but if it’s a texture-only skin, I’ll release it at the same time as my next hack!
I like the wand always out, myself. I was actually going to make mention of how I was glad you chose to do it that way (since I think he’d look odd without it) but ended up not. If you do sometime find out how to remove it I vote for releasing both options.
Yeah I also agree with both options. I mean, the main reason why I was saying a version with the wand only visible for F Smash was because of how Lucas moves and how the wand may phase through parts of his body and stuff like that since he’s moving his right arm as though it wasn’t there (if you get what I mean).
If someone did a PSA or even some kind of animation revamp using the current version with the always visible wand that would be wicked cuz they can animate it properly so that he moves his arm with the awareness of the wand and it wouldn’t ever phase through parts of the body.
But again, I still really like this model. Even as someone with pretty much no knowledge of League of Legends it’s a great hack nonetheless.
