Morshu’s Finest Client – Celebrating 2 Years of Modding

OH BOY IT’SA BOMBERMAN!

This dude’s like a legend!  He’s pretty freakin good!  I mean I don’t feel like I need to sing his praises but whatever he’s got tight animations, a diverse playstyle so go SLAP HIM IN YOUR WII MACHINE AND HAVE A GRAND OL’ TIME!

*Clears throat*

Egoraptor references aside, here’s the Bomberman PSA Beta!  To celebrate my 2 year KC-MM anniversary, I decided to develop a little something in secret and after around a month of development I finally revealed the surprise!  So Vegeta, Metal Sonic and co can wait for a bit for one of my personal favourite characters in gaming.  This little dude has a special little place in my heart, but let’s continue onto the moveset:

As you can guess, Bomberman’s signature form of attack are indeed BOMBS.  And his Neutral B controls his Bomb in a variety of different ways!

But that’s not all!  He also has 3 different varieties of Bombs each with their own unique effects.  They swap in rotation by using the Down B Bomb Switch:

-> Fire Bombs are the strongest of the three in terms of damage and knockback.  Their effects are very simple and to the point though.  Hits at a regular angle and deals fire damage.

-> Ice Bombs are slightly weaker than Fire Bombs, but can freeze foes as %s increase.  They hit foes directly upwards, meaning at high %s you can score Star KOs with the charged version.

-> Gravity Bombs are the weakest of the three but also have the most interesting effect.  The weak charge deals multiple hits with good shield damage and an interesting angle that pulls the foe towards you.  The charged version is particularly intersting though.  It stuns foes trapped in the centre, and sucks them in nearby, finally spitting them out at a random angle.  These bombs also have the largest explosions.

Here’s a video showing off even more of the moveset.  It’s a little outdated, but it shows off what it needs to:

Here’s the stuff that needs to be done:

-> Final Smash

-> Taunts and Victory poses

-> Possible new throws

-> New custom retextures

Oh and one last thing…

Being a member of the Project M Back Room, I also feel it kinda necessary to add on a little say about Project M here since demo 2 has finally been released!  Click the Project M logo to go to the download, and the link below it for more info.
