Hi, it’s me, Mewtwo2000 xD
Most of you know about my Fourside stage, some of you know about the 3 daytime versions I made from it, and only a few have seen this video. The post continues under the video link.
First of all, I’m introducing some concepts. The original Daytime Fourside stage has 3 entries in the vault, but the file is the same. Only a few things are renamed or moved, but the files are the same. So, if you know the basics in Bralbox, you’re able to transform / combine them. The 3 stages are these:

So, you can make a Dusk-Raining, Cloudy-NotRaining, Bluesky-Wet…
The stage showed in the video is the 4th version. As you can see, there’s some water, and you can swim on it. This stage can also be transformed in any of the other 3 versions, only by moving/renaming things. So, the file is this one:

But you can transform it in a custom stage for yourself. Just like this one:

The file in the vault is configured to be rainy, grey sky, grey sky scenedata with fog, tangible water and water step collisions on the buildings. The rain can be turned off by moving down the first modeldata[101] in the file. The sky can be changed by renaming one of 3 textures to ‘sky’. The scenedata guide is inside the pac file. Tangible water is turned off by moving down/deleting the first miscdata[20] and modeldata[2], and water step collisions can be disabled by moving down the first miscdata[2]. Get your own version this way. But do not upload it to vault as a new stage.
The former stages are also updated, so they can be transformed into the Flooded Fourside anytime. Also, I fixed some ugly thing in the background buildings, but I don’t guess you’re noticing the change.
One more thing about this. The tangible water will only work when placing the stage over Jungle Japes. STGDXGARDEN.pac. Or using a rel file based in this stage. When using this rel file, any version will work flawlessly (except for the original nightime one, which needs to be updated too). I mean, you can have it with or without water this way. If you place it over Final Destination as usual, they will work too, but tangible water won’t. It will be only a decorative element.
Okay, let’s leave Fourside alone. Only one more thing more about it. I’m about to make a full resize to it, so it will be exactly like in melee in terms of size. I will also make a real size version of it (I mean, a really big one).
The next thing I bring you today is another stage. Do you know that lava city I made together with PlasmaKirby? I mean Crisis City. This stage:
It’s a very impressive stage. You’re fighting over some broken buildings in a city, being surrounded with lava. Also, in newer versions I added a way to go under the main building, which is only activated at some times. Look to the chaos emeralds. When they shine, you can go down /scape from there (that’s the power of the chaos emeralds). If they stop shining, you will be traped there for a while. Just for you to know.
Well, what’s the matter with Crisis? A revamp? Not exactly. I’ve remade the light file, but everything’s like it was in the last version (v4) of Crisis City. Just made it a background. Yeah, a background.

Okay, this is Crisis City… Silver’s flying over there as always…

Wait, this is FINAL DESTINATION O_o
We’re full of videos today I guess xD
Here they are, Crisis City and Crisis City Final Destination:
The last one is not a stage, but a character. It’s my fixed sonic (no pink layer sonic), with a new fix. The eyelids were still having that pink layer. Now they’re pink free.

EDIT: Now the original Fourside is compatible with water (jungle japes rel files) too. Just get the new version if you plan to use it (water included, you only need to activate it). If you’re having trouble activating water or something I’ll upload a night fl00ded version so you don’t need to edit a thing. But that has to be requested ^^U

Epic! So Miscdata[20] has to do with the water?
We’re waiting for you on your thread!
the shoebuckle still has the pink layer
If it’s really needed, I will fix it too O.o
It seems like you FLOODED the update with your stages!
Haha, get it? Flooded? And the first stage?…
…
I just suck at puns >_>
br3compactor, MiscData[20] does not always deal with water. MiscData[20] is STDT, stage trap data table. It’s what controls the frequency of hazards, height of things, etc. in a stage.
Mewtwo.. i will ask you again.. XD Have meh baby!! XD
@Calamitas
Got it, it was funny xD
@Mr.Nice Guy
I don’t like babies >.< xD
You just up-staged everyone with your stages xD
(yes, its a pun >_>)
Would be cool to make a texture for plataform of Final Destination to look like the buildings of Crisis City, to match. ^^
I loved the Flooded Fourside, it’s awesome! Meteor Smash on water. <3
I LOVE THESE! My favourite( yeah, that’s right I used a U in favourite, I’m Canadian) one is flooded fourside. just finished downloading it.
wow, a custom stage with tangible water that wasn’t a simple edit of one that already had it. awesome
First let me say, Amazing work! Crisis City is a unique and interesting stage and flooded Fourside looks really cool
Although I like Crisis City, I’ve not been compelled to keep it in my Brawl for four reasons:
1) Why can you occasionally fall through a solid building? It’s interesting that you were able to rig it to only be sometimes possible, but it doesn’t make logical sense and creates the ultimate camping area.
2) The lava wall(that comes from the depth of the perspective) looks nearly unavoidable. I realize it’s not actually as high as it appears to be, but it’s still very awkward to play with. That its hitbox is not as tall as its model is uncomfortable to me, as well. I would enjoy the stage more if this particular lava wall were removed.
3) The arching lava sprays originate behind buildings and are thus made more difficult to predict. The sprays are frustrating, in general, but this added attribute makes them particularly irritating. I would enjoy the stage more if these sprays were removed, as well.
4) If I recall correctly, the rising Norfair lava is tangible, but the lava that the building is floating in is not.
I hope my suggestions are helpful.
I appreciate your interest in my input
Hi Mewtwo2000, you say that with your fourside I can delete the tangible water… Do you know how to do it with Pirates Ship? I try to make Hyrule Castle 64 on it, everything OK exept that the water is still tangible… I thank you in advance.
@Toddtj You can delete the second and third issues by putting the stage over Final Destination instead of Norfair. Anyway, I should test this better first.
I’m including a fix for the first one too (an alternate collision file), and about the fourth one, I can’t do nothing without changing how high the lava arrives. I mean, the lava is pre-animated, and the not tangible one is in there just to not have an empty of lava city at sometimes. The tangible one moves because of the stage itself, not because of me. Anyway, I will try some thingies about this too.
Thank you ^^
@Crush
I will investigate about it, the only test I made on pirate ship was porting rayquaza’s lake over it, and I succeeded, but the ground was waterish and insta-kill. I guess water doesn’t work the same way for these stages, but I will try to find out how to control it.
If I succeed, I will include compatibility with pirate ship in Hyrule Castle 64.
